Directorate of Finance and Administration:
The Directorate of Finance and Administration (FAD) works closely with the other Directorates in the Commission in handling cross cutting administrative issues in the Commission both at the head office and in the Regions.
The Directorate has three functional units that facilitate it to run the affairs of the Directorate as well as the Commission in general, namely the Human Resource Management Unit, the Systems Administration Unit; and the Finance and Accounts Unit.
The core functions of the Directorate mainly include coordination of the functioning of various support services; support to the office of the Secretary in general administration and management of the affairs of the Commission; managing the human resource functions and needs of the Commission; managing the Commission’s finances and monitoring the implementation of the Commission’s Corporate Plan.
